It is the Town of Amherst's policy to install street lights, through AEP, for the purpose of lighting streets on a request-by-request basis. Any person desiring to have a street light installed should petition the Town Council on a Street Light Petition Form.
Street light complaints should be called in to 800/956-7237 or directed to AEP's web site.
