The Town Manager is appointed by the Town Council and manages the day-to-day business of the Town. He can be reached at the Town Hall at 434/946-7885. The Town Manager also serves as the Clerk of the Council.
Jack Hobbs has served as Amherst's Town Manager since 1992.
