The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Town Council on comprehensive plan, Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, and rezoning and special use permit applications. The Commission has the authority to review and approve subdivisions and site plans.
Planning Commission meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the first Wednesday of the month in the Town Hall. Dates and times are subject to cancellation or adjustment depending on applications received.
The Planning Commission operates under the authority of Section 18.1-1403 of the Town Code and Section 15.2-2210 of the Code of Virginia.
