| Duties and Responsibilities | To authorize the raising and spending of funds necessary to provide services and programs for the Town; adopt and amend Town Code; employment of Town staff. | Recommendations to the Town Council on comprehensive plan, Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, and rezoning and special use permit applications. Review subdivisions and site plans. | Decide variance requests and appeals from decisions, interpretations and actions of the Zoning Administrator. | Own and manage property; make loans to promote industry and develop trade by inducing manufacturing, industrial, governmental, nonprofit and commercial enterprises and institutions of higher education to locate in or remain in the community. | As directed by the Town Council, investigates and reports on complaints related to the condition of any building, wall or any other structure that might endanger the public health or safety of other residents of the Town. |
